Finals finished nearly a week ago; I think (and hope) I did fairly well. Now I'm in the middle of job-hunting for summer

Update: Passing on something that LF found: a preview article of Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts. Been looking forward to the next BK sequel for a long while now (handheld versions don't count). This one looks interesting, for lack of better word, but it's at least good to see and hear more about it.

Lucky Star Volume 1 is too epic for my TV. I watched the DVD nearly three times through on the day I bought it. If you like Lucky Star, buy the DVD. It's twice as awesome on a TV screen than on a computer screen, and the English dub rocks out loud, especially for Konata. (Although, the original voices will always be > the dub voices).

I also finished watching all 37 episodes of Death Note the other night -- it's since become one of my favorite anime series. I heard that the Death Note live-action movie is playing in select theaters next week, but I might just wait to rent the DVD instead.

By the way, would anyone happen to know where I can buy DVD boxes? Like the anime special-edition boxes, except without anything in it, just to store the DVD sets that I already have -- preferably 6 DVD cases per box.

Anyhow, I'll hopefully be spending more time drawing and writing during the summer, as there are several designs I've been meaning to draw for the past few months, and a few novellas I've been meaning to finish for the past couple years. I'll probably be giving YTP a break for a while as I focus on those. In somewhat related news, Syko Luigi is getting fav'd too much I never expected it to reach 100+ favorites or 1000+ views, let alone both -- could it be I've started a mini YTP meme?

Speaking of drawing, the first handful of my Watchers/Friends to read this entry are being randomly rewarded, since the first ten to mention it will each receive a complementary sketch from yours truly. Just a little way of saying thanks for enjoying my artwork The only rules: one character per request, one request per person (unless there are empty spots after a week, at which point I'll also open requests to all Deviants), no SSBA design requests, and I have the right to refuse anything that I deem inappropriate, vulgar, etc. At latest, I'll try to have everything done before summer's end.
