Just another journal entry; I felt like updating the whole Reading/Watching/etc'ing thing and mentioning a bit about each topic.

Listening to Miku Hatsune. Some of those songs are way too addicting. One of these days, either they import her Vocaloid program to the US, or I'll learn enough Japanese to use it =P

Reading Death Note and MegaTokyo. I've been borrowing volumes of the two series from my local library lately, and they've both been enjoyable -- though I've only read one volume of each so far. The Death Note anime and manga seem close to each other storywise, though I've noticed a few minor things that were left out of the anime.

Watching Library War and Bleach. In my opinion and from what I've browsed, Library War is the only good anime airing this season -- and it's gradually becoming one of my all-time favorites as well. It's only going to be 12 episodes long, but I'll be hoping for sequels :D And as for Bleach, I've only seen a half-dozen episodes so far (chronological, original Japanese voices), but it's looking like it'll be a good show to enjoy for a long time (with it being almost 200 episodes long so far).

Playing Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn and Super Smash Bros Brawl. I left Radiant Dawn alone for a long time when I got to the point of controlling the Greil Mercenaries, because I wasn't used to my soldiers having such different stats from the ones they had in Path of Radiance. But one semester later, I began forgetting all the details of their strengths and weaknesses, so I could start over with them, so to speak. Am now on Chapter 4 of that Part. And needless to say, Brawl never ceases to entertain.

Eating ice-cream fudge bars and chocolate Hello Pandas; drinking Dr. Pepper Cherry Chocolate. For some reason, I've had a persistent appetite for chocolate this past week.

And... that's about it. I'm trying to juggle college stuff, writing, drawing, gaming, and anime-ing, so if you had a spot on the requests thing, again, I'll try to have those done before autumn at latest, but I'll likely get them done much sooner. I'll also close requests by August, so any empty or undecided spots will be nullified at that point. Kthxbai!

PS: If you watch both HaruSuzu and Lucky Star, then the following video will be megas epic: [link]

PS2: Working on a ton of college stuff and doing random summer chores lately, in case anyone's curious about my recent lack of drawings; I'll still be around though. In the mean time, here's a new Youtube Poop Music Video (YTPMV) I made: [link]

If you really watched only six episodes of Bleach and like it already, it might just become one of your favorite around the 30th episode.

They just introduce all characters in the first 20 something episodes, then the story truly starts.

[[ English dub < Original japanese dub ]]

Wow, there must be a ton of main characters then :O

Agreed about the dubs; I tried watching the English dub on Adult Swim once, and quickly gave up on the show; I only gave it a second try (Japanese dub this time) because a friend who had similar tastes as me recommended it.

The SSB Anime roster so far

More Blue Starlight comics still coming!

Optimist: Half full. Pessimist: Half empty.
Engineer: The glass is twice as big as it needs to be.

Yes, the Japanese overvoices are really superior, but I'm still stuck watching the show on TV with cheap english Dub.
Japanese's the way to go

And no, there are not over 20 main characters, but it explains each character's story and experience trough many episodes as well as Ichigo's experience with them. Even newer episodes still explain more about the characters, but they only take time to explain their general story in the first few episodes. Then the true action begins, and only maybe twenty episodes over the 30th episode were enough to make it one of my all times favorite.

Keep watching the show, it's pretty good :)
