BSL 16: Shopping in Japan

Another one so soon Have I mentioned how much I like using vectors to make comics?

So yeah, I noticed that it was never quite fully explained why Hoshi can't speak Japanese, whereas Hikari is pretty much fluent. In a nutshell, Hoshi was a lazy toddler/child who cared nothing about the Japanese language (until she found out about anime much later down the road), so when their father tried teaching the two sisters Japanese from an early age, only Hikari ever picked up the language Just a bit of behind-the-scenes I guess, though the last panel of the comic probably sufficed as enough of an explanation.

And Hikari is supposed to be taunting Hoshi with that "blank stare" of hers.
